What is PPU?
The Productive Park Uruguay is the greatest industrial complex regarding services and logistics in Uruguay. It covers 150 hectares, generating an exclusive location in a framework with strong industrial growth.
It is an initiative developed by private investors and has the support of the Industry, Energy and Mining Ministry and Canelones Department Major. It was born as a solution to industrial areas lack and necessity, due to strong economy increase and new charge transports legislation.
Law 16.906 Investments Promotion and Protection
This law declares of national interest the promotion and protection of investment made by national and abroad investors. It states the equality conditions on admission and treatment to national or abroad investors (previous authorization or register are not required). Uruguayan State guarantees free transferability of capital and profits overseas and free convertibility money system.
